Accounting Manager

About the role

We are a well‑established ship‑manning company seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our Accounting Department and oversee all financial operations. Based in Malate, Manila, you will work onsite, collaborating closely with senior management and international principals to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Manage treasury functions, cash flow, and banking relationships.
• Oversee tax compliance, filing, and liaison with tax authorities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with maritime and corporate standards.
• Coordinate financial reporting and analysis for senior leadership and international partners.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, treasury, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in the maritime, shipping, or crew‑management industry is an advantage.
