Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective asset management. This role is office‑based with occasional field visits for coordination and document submission.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee consolidation, analysis, and recording of all financial transactions.
• Review and approve financial statements, vouchers, and journal entries.
• Establish and enforce accounting policies, internal controls, and asset safeguarding procedures.
• Prepare audit schedules, liaise with auditors, and implement audit recommendations.
• Ensure timely preparation and filing of statutory reports and compliance documents.
• Coordinate with external parties such as auditors, financial institutions, and government agencies.
• Set departmental goals, manage budgets, and lead a team of accounting professionals.
• Drive process improvements, coach staff, and conduct performance reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• CPA licensure.
• 4–5 years of experience in an accounting leadership or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
• Analytical thinking, high integrity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
