Accounting Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team at Marikina Valley Medical Center in Manila. This full-time, on-site position will lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and management of financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal budgeting processes.
• Prepare, review and post journal entries and manage the fixed-asset register.
• Conduct financial analysis to support planning and strategic decision-making.
• Lead and develop the accounting team, promoting efficient processes.
• Provide insights and recommendations for financial decisions across the organization.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of financial statements, finance principles and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in journal-entry preparation and fixed-asset management.
• Outstanding analytical ability with a track record of actionable recommendations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills for cross-department collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA certification highly preferred.
• Experience in the healthcare or hospital sector is an advantage.
