Accounting Manager – General Accounting & Reporting

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the company’s general accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accurate financial statements, robust internal controls, and compliance with applicable standards. This role supports month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes and collaborates closely with internal and external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• Manage the general ledger, review journal entries, and ensure timely account reconciliations.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity, including accruals, provisions, pre‑payments and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Coordinate regulatory and statutory reporting, including tax filings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and management reporting activities.
• Supervise and develop the general accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• CPA certification.
• 3‑5+ years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and closing processes.
• Leadership and analytical abilities.
