Accounting Associate (CPA) – Tax & Compliance

About the role

As an Accounting Associate you will record transactions, prepare financial reports and calculate taxes for our clients. You will work closely with both local and foreign startups, ensuring compliance with Philippine tax and corporate regulations while supporting the firm’s administrative functions.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for clients.
• Calculate and file tax returns in compliance with BIR regulations.
• Ensure corporate compliance with SEC and other commercial laws.
• Identify key accounting issues and propose practical solutions.
• Support recruitment, thought‑leadership, business development and other business units.
• Develop and improve accounting workflows, systems and processes.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines.
• Pass a baseline test on accounting principles and tax laws administered by the firm.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills.
• Up to two years of experience in accounting, finance or taxation (desired).
• Ability to build rapport with local and foreign clients.
