Accountant – Vendor Reconciliation & Payments

About the role

The Accountant will manage vendor account reconciliations, resolve invoice issues, and process payments for both vendors and employees. The role supports month‑end and year‑end close activities while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform vendor account reconciliations and resolve related issues.
• Process vendor and employee payments accurately and timely.
• Prepare local statutory reports and journal entries for various financial transactions.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and other finance teams.
• Assist internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives and automation projects.
• Maintain detailed documentation for audit purposes and handle special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, or Record‑to‑Report functions.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Self‑motivated, analytical, and able to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards.
