Accountant Specialist (Hybrid after training)

About the role

Directio, a global IT services firm, is seeking an Accountant Specialist for a French eyewear client that produces glasses and works with opticians. The role supports the client’s financial operations and contributes to improving vision quality for end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Assist the Senior Accountant with month‑end closing and validation of closing transactions.
• Validate annual budgets and quarterly estimates submitted by entities.
• Update and publish Estimate and Actual Financial Statement reports for variance analysis.
• Gather, prepare, and analyse ad‑hoc financial reports requested by business users.
• Monitor key performance indicators and analyse root causes of variances.
• Support the external audit process by preparing detailed schedules and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in audit or financial accounting.
• Ability to work onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa (hybrid mode after training).
• Willingness to work shifting schedules, including occasional alignment with European time zones.

Required skills

• Practical experience with SAP (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

What we offer

• Salary of PHP 25,000 – 30,000 per month.
