Accountant – Remote Finance & Accounting Position

About the role

Attivo Partners is seeking a proactive Accountant to join its remote finance team. You will support fast‑growing, venture‑backed startups by handling core accounting functions and ensuring accurate financial reporting as the clients scale.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger entries.
• Assist with the monthly close by posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and delivering ad‑hoc financial analysis.
• Maintain regular communication with client teams to provide high‑quality service and resolve accounting issues.
• Support special projects and ad‑hoc assignments as needed.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of GAAP principles.
• Highly detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Familiarity with Xero.
• Knowledge of NetSuite.
• Use of Bill.com, Gusto, Expensify, and Carta preferred.
