Accountant – Premiums & Receivables Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the full premium lifecycle, oversee claims payments, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role involves close collaboration with underwriting, broker, and client teams while driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Own revenue, premiums, and receivables processes, including invoicing, collections, reconciliation, and distribution.
• Manage client follow‑ups, resolve discrepancies, and protect cash flow by minimizing aged receivables.
• Oversee claims payment processing, review transactions, and handle payment failures and bank‑related issues.
• Prepare monthly claims and premium bordereaux, financial statements, and management reports for Norway.
• Maintain loss fund reconciliations and ensure audit‑ready records.
• Review supplier invoices, manage payables, and support external auditors.
• Provide guidance to junior accountants, partner with cross‑functional teams, and lead automation initiatives.
• Support ad‑hoc projects requiring strong analytical and execution skills.
