Accountant – Outsourced Accounting Services

About the role

We are expanding an outsourced accounting and financial services team that supports clients across multiple industries. As an Accountant you will ensure accurate financial reporting, perform reconciliations, and resolve accounting issues to keep client books clean.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile bank, trust, mortgage, escrow, tenant, owner and security‑deposit balances.
• Analyze general‑ledger activity, post adjusting entries and support month‑end and year‑end close.
• Handle bookkeeping tasks and maintain records across accounting platforms.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Research discrepancies, identify root causes and implement resolutions.
• Review billing, payment and transaction details for accuracy.
• Navigate multiple systems such as QBO, Bill.com, Keeper, Teamwork and internal tools.
• Communicate updates and clarifications via WhatsApp Desktop and Microsoft Teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA not required).
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and financial reporting.
• Proven experience reconciling various balance‑sheet accounts.
• Ability to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies independently.
• Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
• Effective written communication and ability to ask clarifying questions.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.
