Accountant – Manage Subsidiary Financials

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join our global finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager. The role will cover the accounting, tax and statutory compliance for assigned subsidiaries across multiple jurisdictions within the Coda group.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for all accounting matters of the assigned subsidiaries within the Coda group.
• Manage the full set of accounts for assigned subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and timely financial reporting.
• Liaise with and review the work of outsourced accounting service providers in various countries to ensure accounts are submitted in a timely and accurate manner for Group consolidation as part of the monthly closing process.
• Work collaboratively with internal finance teams to ensure that financials and tax compliance obligations for the subsidiaries are completed accurately and on time.
• Provide support in the Group and subsidiaries’ audit process, including preparation of supporting documents and financial statements.
• Assist in preparing reports required by stakeholders.
• Participate in process‑improvement projects to increase efficiency of routine tasks.
• Handle any other ad‑hoc accounting matters as needed.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with some audit background.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS (knowledge of PFRS is a plus).
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Familiarity with NetSuite is advantageous.
• Meticulous, self‑motivated and responsible with a strong initiative.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
