About the role

Join Johnson & Johnson's Global Finance team in Taguig, Philippines as an Accountant. You will support the Global Services Finance organization by ensuring accurate accounting for balance sheet and income statement processes while adhering to compliance and internal audit standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain operational excellence by timely closing financial periods and complying with SLA commitments, internal audit, and SOX requirements.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of reported actuals within the assigned entity scope.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations to minimize open items and support auditors and legal authorities.
• Provide on‑the‑job training for new team members and BPO partners.
• Identify compliance risks, recommend solutions, and maintain strong internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline; CPA, CMA, MBA or similar certifications preferred.
• 1‑2 years of professional finance experience with basic understanding of finance and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, able to work with employees at all levels.
• Learning agility, adaptability to changing business needs, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles.
• Experience with audit management, internal controls, and compliance processes.
