Accountant

About the role

Linxon is seeking a dedicated Accountant to support its sub‑station projects in Makati. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with tax and audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and address accounting concerns at project sites and the corporate office.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare monthly journal entries.
• Submit client invoices with all required supporting documents.
• Manage petty cash, record cash receipts, and obtain authorized approvals.
• Reconcile outstanding receivables and perform monthly tax compliance checks.
• Assist in preparing monthly reports and audit documentation.
• Record schedules for pre‑payments, accruals, provisions, rent and other expenses, and make adjusting entries.
• Prepare analysis and reports on project costs as required by management.
• Generate related‑party invoices and reconcile balances.
• Perform bank reconciliations for all accounts and corporate credit cards.
• Process supplier payments with clear reconciliation statements.
• Maintain digital and physical financial records and support the Business Controller with ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a project accountant, preferably in construction or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Experience in financial statement preparation, data consolidation and GL analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle or ACCPAC.
