Accountant – Hybrid with $10k Sign-On Bonus

About the role

Connext is seeking a proactive Accountant to join its US client team. This hybrid position offers a competitive package, including a $10,000 sign‑on bonus, and provides the chance to work on month‑end close, financial reporting, and system implementation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structured accounting training for new hires and senior staff.
• Conduct progress checks, knowledge assessments, and update training materials.
• Review and reconcile financial records, identify discrepancies, and apply corrective actions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on reporting requirements and support ERP/accounting system implementation, including data migration and testing.
• Evaluate and improve accounting processes, streamline workflows, and prepare journal entries, financial statements, and close activities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, audit requirements, and special accounting projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum two years of accounting experience (general ledger, reconciliation, financial reporting).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF).
• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks or an equivalent accounting system.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and maintain stable employment history.
