Accountant – HVAC & Home Services (Remote, Philippines)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage the day‑to‑day financial operations of a fast‑growing US‑based HVAC and home‑services business. This remote, full‑time position supports the business owner and a fractional CFO, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile daily financial activity, including debits, credits, expenditures, and technician timesheets.
• Provide morning summaries of prior‑day billings and spend to the business owner.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation in QuickBooks Online, attaching receipts and supporting files.
• Generate AR aging reports, pursue unpaid invoices, and manage vendor/payable schedules.
• Prepare weekly income and expense summaries, monthly bank reconciliations, and financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Process bi‑weekly payroll for technicians and virtual staff.
• Create and send invoices based on job data, track project accounting, and analyze budget performance.
• Collaborate with field teams to ensure accurate job costing and improve accounting workflows in ServiceTitan.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• At least 1 year of experience using ServiceTitan (strongly preferred).
• Background in trades or service‑based accounting (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage full‑cycle AR/AP, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
