Accountant – Full‑time Onsite Finance Role

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time, onsite Accountant to own the end‑to‑end accounting cycle for our busy finance function in Cebu City. You will be responsible for daily, weekly, monthly and yearly accounting activities, ensuring accurate journal entries, group P&L reporting and audit‑ready documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Process all transactional entries and manage month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Prepare and post accruals, pre‑payments, amortisation and other journal entries.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, calculate monthly depreciation and handle asset additions, disposals and adjustments.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigate variances and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare group Profit & Loss statements and produce audit‑ready reports for external auditors.
• Execute intercompany, levy and gift‑voucher reconciliations, addressing timing differences.
• Assist with GST, BAS, PAYG, FBT and income‑tax compliance, maintaining statutory records.
• Support the Finance Controller and Senior Financial Accountant with ad‑hoc requests and system improvements, including AI‑enabled tools.
