Accountant – Financial Statements & Ledger Management

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our finance team. The role focuses on preparing accurate financial statements, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring tax compliance in line with general accounting principles. You will work closely with various functional areas to deliver timely and reliable financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Compute and prepare data for journal entries and review the general ledger for accuracy.
• Accumulate and analyze information to produce financial statements, ledgers, reports, and tax filings.
• Assist in preparing internal and external financial reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure timely reporting to functional departments.
• Provide training and guidance to employees within and outside the accounting department.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Ability to analyze financial data and ensure its reasonableness.
