Accountant – Big Four Exposure & Australia Travel

About the role

Join a pioneering team supporting one of Australia’s leading Big Four firms. As an Accountant you will deliver financial reporting and tax services for Australian businesses across diverse industries, while gaining exposure to global leaders and the opportunity to travel to Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Australian financial statements for multiple entity structures and ensure audit readiness.
• Process journals and maintain client accounting systems.
• Compile supporting workpapers for accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare Australian income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) in line with Australian compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with the Australian Taxation Office on client matters.
• Review and organize client documentation for advisory support.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of Australian public practice accounting experience.
• Experience with SME and mid‑market clients (AUD 5M‑100M+ turnover).
• Proven ability to prepare Australian financial statements, tax workpapers, and income tax returns.
• Strong understanding of Australian taxation, GST, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
