Accountant – Bank Reconciliation

About the role
The Accountant will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records by focusing on bank reconciliation. You will identify and resolve discrepancies, prepare related journal entries, generate monthly reconciliation reports, and support audit activities.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate inconsistencies such as outstanding checks, deposits in transit, unauthorized withdrawals, and bank errors.
- Prepare journal entries required for bank reconciliation.
- Generate and distribute monthly bank reconciliation reports.
- Provide support during internal and external audits.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in general accounting.
- Strong ability to interpret and analyse financial statements with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and its functions.
- Experience with SAP and Business Central is an advantage.
