About the role

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Australian tax returns and technical advisory reports.
• Conduct tax research and provide advice on Australian tax, GST, and complex tax issues.
• Support business structuring, cross‑border transactions, and indirect‑tax advisory projects.
• Assist with asset acquisitions, divestments, financing, and IPO‑related tax matters.
• Liaise with the Australian Tax Office (ATO) on reviews, audits, and dispute resolution.
• Apply legislative updates and tax changes to client engagements.
• Contribute to technical tax knowledge‑sharing and advisory updates.
• Review and organize client records and supporting documentation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Australian accounting, taxation, or advisory services.
• Background in Australian public‑practice accounting.
• Experience handling SME to mid‑market clients with AUD 5M‑100M+ turnover.
