Accountant – AP & Travel Expense Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant with strong accounts payable and travel‑and‑expense expertise to own the end‑to‑end AP and expense processes. Reporting to the Controller and Head of Finance, you will work closely with finance, operations and media teams to ensure accurate vendor payments and cost tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full AP cycle: vendor onboarding, invoice coding, approvals and payment execution.
• Oversee corporate card and employee expense workflows using Ramp, ensuring timely processing of high‑volume invoices.
• Support month‑end close activities, including AP accruals, balance‑sheet reconciliations and journal entries in NetSuite or Xero.
• Assist with external audits and strengthen internal controls as the company scales.
• Collaborate with production and editorial teams on media‑specific cost accounting, talent payments and deal‑related expenses.
• Identify and implement process improvements across AP and expense systems, and lead training sessions for managers and new hires.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in accounts payable and expense management.
• Ability to partner with non‑finance teams and explain process rationale.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation standards.

Required skills

• NetSuite or Xero accounting software.
• Ramp expense management platform.
• Advanced Excel for reporting and analysis.
