About the role
The Account Services Officer will manage the end‑to‑end onboarding of new customers and maintain existing accounts at our Sta. Rosa branch. This position ensures compliance with KYC/AML regulations while delivering high‑quality service to clients.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct customer due diligence, KYC verification, and enhanced due‑diligence as required.
- Create and open customer profiles in the Core Banking System, issue passbooks, chequebooks, and time‑deposit certificates.
- Maintain and update customer information, validate documents, and generate end‑of‑day reports on newly opened accounts.
- Handle debit‑card issuance, blocking, and destruction, as well as manage bounced cheques and related inquiries.
- Safekeep account opening documents and fire‑proof cabinet/vault items, ensuring proper custodial controls.
- Respond to customer queries in‑branch and via email, resolve complaints, and support call‑out activities.
- Participate in system UAT/UVT, business continuity planning, and continuous improvement projects.
Required profile
- University degree in Banking & Finance or a related business field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in banking operations or teller services.
- Strong knowledge of BSP regulations and AML compliance.
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
