Account Services Officer – Bacoor Branch

About the role

The Account Services Officer will manage customer onboarding, account maintenance, and day‑to‑day branch operations at our Bacoor location. You will ensure compliance with KYC, AML and BSP regulations while delivering high‑quality service to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct customer due diligence, KYC verification, and signature validation for new accounts.
• Open and maintain accounts in the Core Banking System (CBS) and issue related documents such as passbooks and chequebooks.
• Update customer information, perform enhanced due diligence, and handle account modifications.
• Manage fire‑proof cabinet/vault custodianship for cheques, debit cards and other accountable forms.
• Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and process bounced cheques and card-related requests.
• Generate end‑of‑day reports on account openings and submit them to the Service Delivery Head.
• Participate in UAT/UVT for system enhancements and business continuity activities.
• Identify process improvements, initiate projects and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in Banking, Finance or a related business field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in banking operations or teller services.
• Strong knowledge of BSP regulations and AML/combatting money‑laundering procedures.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
