Account Officer – Client Relationship Management

About the role

The Account Officer will build and maintain long‑term, trust‑based relationships with a portfolio of customers in the logistics, supply‑chain and storage sector. The role focuses on understanding client needs, resolving issues promptly and enhancing the overall client experience to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to retain and grow existing client accounts.
• Oversee delivery of agreed‑upon services and negotiate contracts or pricing terms.
• Serve as the primary point of contact, addressing client inquiries, concerns and requests in a professional manner.
• Establish trust through personalized support, regular meetings and events, and identify partnership opportunities.
• Proactively resolve problems, including technical issues, billing discrepancies and complaints, collaborating with internal teams.
• Support sales forecasting by analysing data, market trends and client feedback, and prepare regular reports for management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with the company’s Quality Management System.

Required profile

• Graduate of any discipline.
• Proven experience as an Account Specialist, Key Account Specialist, Junior Account Manager or similar role within logistics, supply‑chain or storage.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver client‑focused solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organisational levels, including executives.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setting.
