Account Manager – Freight & Logistics

About the role

The Account Manager will drive freight revenue growth by acquiring new clients, retaining existing accounts, and expanding business opportunities within the logistics sector. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Generate freight revenue through client acquisition, retention, and account expansion.
• Manage the full freight cycle from booking to delivery or container withdrawal.
• Prepare and present competitive quotations and follow up to secure bookings.
• Process Shipper’s Agreement Forms for credit‑term clients.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Operations, Land Transport, Finance, and Data teams.
• Support Finance in resolving overdue Accounts Receivable.
• Acquire a minimum of four new accounts per month and conduct regular client visits.
• Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights to management.
• Recommend improvements to sales processes, policies, and practices.
• Maintain confidentiality, compliance, and uphold company core values.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
• At least 5 years of sales experience in any industry.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in supply‑chain or logistics sales.
• Proven track record in corporate/B2B sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
