Account Executive

About the role

Thumbtack is seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue growth by acquiring new service professionals (pros) and expanding our marketplace. You will be responsible for meeting sales quotas, managing a pipeline, and becoming an expert on Thumbtack’s product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve 100% of assigned monthly quota by generating and closing new business.
• Build, maintain, and nurture a sales pipeline through prospecting and outreach.
• Record accurate notes and account details in Salesforce.
• Provide market, customer, and competitor insights to stakeholders.
• Articulate the value of Thumbtack’s platform to prospective pros.

Required profile

• Demonstrated focus on closing sales and driving revenue.
• History of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to share techniques with the team.
• Experience handling high‑call‑volume sales environments.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, including prospecting and pipeline management.

Required skills

• Salesforce (CRM) proficiency.
