Academic Director (Campus Dean)

About the role

The Academic Director, also referred to as Campus Dean, is the senior academic officer for a newly established campus of a Philippine university. Reporting to the School Director/President, the role provides strategic academic leadership, oversees program quality, and ensures compliance with CHED regulations while building a vibrant learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for the BSBA, General Education, and Psychology departments.
• Lead curriculum development, program review, and academic policy implementation.
• Ensure all programs meet CHED requirements and prepare for future accreditation.
• Support Department Deans in faculty recruitment, development, evaluation, and retention.
• Establish academic standards for course delivery, assessment, and instructional quality.
• Oversee Student Affairs and Placement Office to deliver holistic student support, co‑curricular activities, and industry linkages.
• Monitor student retention, progression, and completion, and drive improvement initiatives.
• Supervise Guidance & Testing Office to provide counseling, psychological support, and ensure compliance with PRC standards.

Required profile

• Senior academic leader with extensive experience in higher‑education administration.
• Proven ability to manage multiple academic departments and student‑service units.
• Deep knowledge of CHED regulations and accreditation processes.
• Track record of fostering faculty development and promoting a student‑centered learning culture.
