A2R DPS Senior Analyst

About the role

The A2R DPS Senior Analyst will join the Global Services Finance team within DePuy Synthes, focusing on Legal Entity Accounting for the Philippines. The role supports month‑end close, tax reporting, and audit coordination while driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities for the assigned country.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and management reports related to tax, ensuring compliance with internal audit and SOX requirements.
• Support local statutory audit, tax audit requirements and coordinate with Country Tax Centers.
• Generate monthly tax reports for the Philippines and manage ad‑hoc requests and projects.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives and automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA, CMA, MBA or similar certifications preferred.
• At least 4 years of finance and accounting experience, including local statutory audit and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels.

Required skills

• Basic ERP knowledge (SAP).
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Experience with US GAAP and local GAAP tax reporting.
• Familiarity with digital/intelligent automation tools.
