VMware VCF 9 Architect

About the role

As a VMware VCF 9 Architect you will be responsible for designing, deploying and configuring the full VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 stack across a variety of datacenter topologies. You will lead design workshops, translate customer requirements into robust solutions, and guide the initial deployment phase while ensuring alignment with VMware by Broadcom best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end VCF 9 projects: design, deploy, configure and validate the solution.
• Oversee and mentor team members on VCF 9 engagements to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales and customers to define use cases, present design options and drive informed decisions.
• Conduct consultative strategy sessions, creating high‑level and detailed enterprise designs.
• Maintain and expand VMware certifications and product knowledge.
• Develop technical resources such as whitepapers and training materials for peers.

Required profile

• High integrity and personal accountability.
• 3+ years of customer‑facing technical experience with strong communication skills.
• 2+ years of hands‑on VCF 9 implementation experience (lab or production).
• Proven lead engineer on 10+ VCF deployments.
• Active listener, continuous learner and ability to present complex concepts clearly.
