Telesales Supervisor

About the role

The Telesales Supervisor leads a team of telesales agents to achieve sales targets while ensuring high‑quality customer interactions. This role focuses on coaching, performance monitoring, and driving revenue growth within a call‑center environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate and manage a team of telesales representatives to meet or exceed sales quotas.
• Monitor live and recorded calls for quality, script adherence and compliance.
• Conduct regular one‑on‑one coaching sessions and team huddles to improve performance.
• Track daily, weekly and monthly KPIs such as conversion rate, call volume, average handling time and sales revenue, and report results to management.
• Identify performance gaps and implement training plans or corrective actions.
• Prepare work schedules, manage attendance and ensure adequate floor coverage.
• Handle escalated customer calls and complaints.
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding and training new telesales agents.
• Analyze sales data and trends to recommend performance‑improving strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in telesales, call centre or customer service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of sales techniques, objection handling and closing strategies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (including Excel and Sheets).
• Experience with reporting tools.
