Team Lead, Global Fixed Assets

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Team Lead, Global Fixed Assets in Paranaque, Philippines, within its Finance function (Accounting). The role supervises the day-to-day operations of the fixed assets department, managing the team so that work is allocated properly and completed on time and accurately, while handling tight deadlines and various accounting activities related to fixed assets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the team: performance evaluations, talent development, succession planning, disciplinary actions, coaching, rewarding and recognizing employees, and resolving conflicts.
• Ensure timely and accurate fixed assets processing, accounting and reporting in line with company guidelines.
• Maintain proper records of fixed assets for corporate and tax books, including capitalization, disposals and transfers.
• Monitor period-end closings, including FA to GL reconciliation and account analysis.
• Identify and manage process improvements and efficiencies while maintaining strong internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and at least 5 years of relevant supervisory experience.
• Detailed, organized, action-oriented, creative and problem-solving, able to lead by example and stay calm under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks without supervision, with attention to detail, accuracy and prioritization.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with people at all levels of the organization.
• Professional appearance, ethics, integrity, confidentiality, adherence to company policies and a flexible schedule.

Required skills

• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Preferred: GAAP, financial analysis, budgeting, audit management, compliance and cost management.
