Supplier Quality Engineering Manager – NPI

About the role

We are looking for a highly driven NPI Supplier Quality Engineering Manager to lead supplier quality execution for new product introduction programs. The role ensures supplier readiness, prevents quality escapes, and drives disciplined execution of the Quality Critical Component List from prototype through EVT and DVT.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality activities across NPI phases (Proto, EVT, DVT) and provide approvals for phase exits.
• Establish, validate, and maintain the Quality Critical Component List, ensuring all items are reviewed, mitigated and cleared before the first build.
• Assess and certify supplier readiness for new designs, processes, materials and technologies, and own First Article Inspection planning and execution.
• Conduct supplier risk assessments (PFMEA, control plan reviews, process capability studies) and drive preventive improvements.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier‑related NPI issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related engineering discipline.
• 8‑10+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, NPI Quality or Manufacturing Quality.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with NPI program management and engineering teams.

Required skills

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent.
• PFMEA development and analysis.
• Control plan creation and review.
• Process capability evaluation.
• First Article Inspection (FAI) planning and execution.
