Startup and Business Consultant (Sales)

About the role

Appetiser Apps is looking for a high‑energy Startup and Business Consultant to join its sales team. You will work with inbound leads, guide entrepreneurs through fundraising, and help close large‑scale deals that drive rapid growth for both the company and its clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage hot inbound leads to generate new business opportunities.
• Negotiate and close multiple 5‑ to 7‑figure deals each month.
• Provide strategic guidance to founders raising capital and scaling their ventures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet and exceed sales targets and company growth objectives.
• Maintain a strong pipeline and deliver accurate forecasts.

Required profile

• Highly motivated, ambitious and results‑driven.
• Proven track record of success in business development, entrepreneurship or technology sales.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to be coached.
• Curiosity to deeply understand customer needs and help them achieve their vision.
• Ability to work flexible hours overlapping with Melbourne (UTC+10/+11) or South Africa (UTC+2) time zones.
