About the role

We are hiring a Software Engineer for a leading global financial services client to build and maintain core financial platforms. The position is fully remote and focuses on creating scalable backend solutions for real‑time transaction processing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise backend services for financial transaction processing.
• Integrate third‑party financial APIs and payment gateways with cross‑functional teams.
• Implement robust security measures to meet financial regulations and data‑privacy standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software‑engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimise downtime and ensure system reliability.

Required profile

• Experience with financial transaction systems, payment processing, or related domains.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Familiarity with security best practices and financial compliance requirements.
