ServiceNow Architect

About the role

The ServiceNow Architect will lead the design, governance, and evolution of the ServiceNow platform, with a strong focus on CMDB, Discovery, IT Asset Management (ITAM), Service Mapping, and CSDM. This role defines technical strategy, ensures platform scalability and data quality, and provides technical leadership across enterprise ServiceNow implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the technical roadmap for ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, ITAM, and Service Mapping.
• Design and govern CMDB architecture, data models, relationships, and CSDM alignment.
• Establish governance standards for data quality, access controls, lifecycle management, and compliance.
• Develop strategies to improve CMDB data accuracy through reconciliation, normalization, and automation.
• Provide architectural leadership for integrations, platform modernization, and technical debt reduction.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and delivery teams to ensure platform alignment and scalability.
• Review solution designs and guide platform enhancements and implementations.
• Support enterprise integration strategies using APIs and other integration technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of ServiceNow experience, including architecture and solution design responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in CMDB, Discovery, ITAM, Service Mapping, and CSDM.
• Experience designing ServiceNow integrations using APIs and integration frameworks.
• Experience establishing platform governance, data quality standards, and operational processes.
• Knowledge of ITSM processes and enterprise service management best practices.
• Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, and enterprise cloud environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
