Senior Manager, Payments

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is looking for a Senior Manager, Payments in Taguig, Philippines. The role leads a Payments organization accountable for end-to-end delivery of Payments and Invoice Management operations across assigned markets, managing cross-cluster performance, stakeholder engagement and process standardization. It oversees Payments Cluster Leads and ensures service delivery, governance, compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Payments and Invoice Management delivery across markets, including SLA, KPI and compliance adherence to pay controls, and tax, statutory and audit requirements.
• Act as senior point of contact for internal stakeholders (Finance, Treasury, Procurement, Business Units) and represent Payments in cluster governance and escalation forums.
• Own standardized payment and invoice processes (SOPs, DTPs, controls) and the governance framework, including KPI ownership such as payment on time, aging, e-invoicing and autoposting.
• Lead and develop a multi-layered team of Cluster Leads, Market SMEs and Specialists, manage resource allocation and drive training and capability building.
• Drive standardization, automation, AI and digital enablement, and support the NextGen Payments / One Payments transformation.
• Oversee third-party providers such as invoice processing BPOs and contractors, acting as sponsor for outsourced service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree.
• 8-10 years of procurement, finance or other relevant business experience.
• Preferred: MBA or advanced degree, shared services industry experience, people management experience of 20+ resources, and fluency in one other language besides English.
• Up to 5% domestic and international travel required.

Required skills

• SAP ERP experience, MM and FI modules preferred.
• Good understanding of payments and invoice processing at a high level.
• Preferred skills include stakeholder management, vendor management, negotiation, performance measurement and risk management.
