Senior Manager, Invoice to Cash

About the role

As part of the Global Services Finance team in the Invoice to Cash (ITC) process area, the Senior Manager champions, leads and influences ITC strategies and solutions for GS Finance-Manila, owning end-to-end service delivery for assigned Operating Companies. The role optimizes cash flow and minimizes financial risk by leading a team of direct and indirect reports to meet ITC performance targets such as cycle time, automation rate, unapplied cash and days sales outstanding, and leads systems and process transformations including acquisitions, divestitures and business model changes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and with the J&J Credo, and maintain a robust compliant environment
• Own delivery of operational results and KPIs (cycle time, automation rate, unapplied cash, DSO, BP AR targets)
• Manage inquiries, resolve or escalate issues, identify gaps and mitigate risks
• Provide ITC expertise to stakeholders and business partners, using data to develop business cases and influence decisions
• Attract, develop and retain talent, including leading DE&I hiring and development initiatives
• Partner with Finance, Commercial/Business Unit and other stakeholders to resolve issues and align priorities
• Communicate performance, risks and remediation plans to senior stakeholders
• Lead business changes such as acquisitions and divestitures, and drive continuous improvement and business transformations (systems, process)

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional certifications (CPA, CMA, MBA) preferred
• At least 8-12 years of work experience, including 4-7 years of management or supervisory experience
• Demonstrated experience in operations or service delivery, with strong knowledge of compliance, internal controls and audit readiness
• Hands-on experience in ITC cash applications with proven delivery against operational metrics and process redesign
• Experience working across regions or supporting global stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize competing priorities, make data-driven decisions and lead change in teams and business partners
• Primary shift EMEA; flexibility for alternate or extended shifts to support global assignments

Required skills

• ERP systems (SAP)
• Preferred: fundamentals of finance and accounting (accounts reconciliation, month-end close)
• Broad understanding of ITC or order-to-cash processes, and experience leading automation and cross-regional programs in a global, matrixed environment
