Quality Engineer / Supervisor

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Quality Engineer / Supervisor to support manufacturing operations across PCBA and Final Assembly lines. The role ensures product compliance, drives continuous improvement, and serves as a primary liaison with customers on quality matters.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise PQC, OBA, OQC, IPQC, and Repair teams, managing schedules, shifts, and manpower rotation.
• Implement and execute quality plans for OBA, IPQC inspections, and repair activities.
• Monitor held materials and finished goods, coordinating timely resolution with cross‑functional teams.
• Analyze inspection results, communicate findings, and promote quality awareness.
• Identify non‑conformities, recommend corrective and preventive actions, and support the QMS.
• Develop inspection and testing procedures for incoming, in‑process, and finished products.
• Investigate customer complaints, determine root causes, and lead corrective actions.
• Provide training on quality control procedures and support new product introductions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality engineering or assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, standards, and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with UPS product assembly processes.
