Production Planner

About the role

Advanced Energy is seeking a Production Planner to develop and execute structured Materials and Capacity production plans that support operational demand. The role works closely with the materials support team to ensure material availability and uninterrupted production flow, reporting to the Planning Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and maintain Master Production Schedule (MPS) data for accuracy.
• Plan and optimize daily production loading based on capacity and operational capabilities.
• Synchronize weekly rolling (3‑month) production plans with Industrial Engineering and Operations teams.
• Coordinate with Material Planners and Buyers to ensure timely kit completion.
• Monitor daily production performance, address variances, and implement recovery actions.
• Resolve capacity constraints by expediting resources for demand surges.
• Communicate production plans, risks, and performance updates across all levels.
• Adhere to quality standards and safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling or materials planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Master Production Scheduling, capacity planning and production control.
