Part-Time Business Analyst – Optimizely Data Platform (ODP)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Business Analyst to support the implementation of Optimizely Data Platform (ODP). The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that customer data, marketing requirements and platform configurations align with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements for the ODP implementation.
• Review and validate customer data architecture, schemas and platform configuration.
• Analyse customer profiles, identity‑resolution rules and behavioural tracking to ensure data accuracy.
• Translate marketing initiatives into detailed technical and functional specifications.
• Create process maps of data flow between CRM, e‑commerce, marketing systems and ODP.
• Maintain functional specifications, data dictionaries, event‑tracking documentation and process documentation.
• Design segmentation strategies to support lifecycle marketing and personalised experiences.
• Define KPI frameworks and reporting requirements for campaign performance.
• Collaborate with marketing, engineering, product and data teams throughout delivery.
• Identify implementation risks, validate technical assumptions and recommend improvements based on best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.
• Experience supporting marketing analytics, customer data platforms or digital marketing initiatives.
• Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Required skills

• Optimizely Data Platform (ODP) – preferred.
• Customer Data Platforms such as Segment, Tealium, ActionIQ, Salesforce CDP.
• API integration and enterprise system integration.
• Relational database concepts and data architecture.
• Identity resolution and event‑based tracking.
