Operations Head - Renewable Energy

About the role

The Operations Head will lead and oversee the operational delivery of renewable energy projects and technical services across the Philippines. This role ensures efficient project execution, resource management, profitability, quality, safety, and client satisfaction across solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), transmission, and other power‑related projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations and develop operational strategies to meet business growth targets.
• Oversee project planning, mobilization, execution and completion while ensuring safety, schedule, budget and compliance.
• Manage client, developer, utility, EPC and regulator relationships to maintain high satisfaction.
• Control operational budgets, monitor profitability, and identify cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, HSSE policies and quality assurance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering; MBA or Master’s a plus.
• Minimum 15 years experience in renewable energy, power generation or engineering consultancy, with at least 7 years in senior leadership of large‑scale operations.
• Proven track record delivering solar PV, wind, BESS, power generation, transmission and owner’s engineering projects.
• Familiarity with Philippine renewable energy regulations and industry practices.
