O&M Coordination Manager

About the role

The O&M Coordination Manager will lead the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) program for the MMSP project within SMEC. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures that all O&M deliverables are planned, coordinated and delivered on schedule, supporting the successful hand‑over to the concessionaire.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the MMSP component of the Integrated O&M Program, including deliverables, milestones, dependencies and interfaces.
• Plan, coordinate, monitor and ensure timely delivery of all MMSP O&M‑related activities and their impact on project implementation and commercial operation timelines.
• Lead the MMSP O&M concessionaire operational readiness, covering onboarding, knowledge transfer and progressive participation in project activities.
• Identify O&M requirements from the MMSP O&M Concession Agreement, assign them to appropriate IOT functions and monitor compliance.
• Coordinate with the O&M Rule Expert for cross‑project activities, dependencies and interfaces, especially those related to MMSP interoperation.
• Provide technical guidance to the O&M coordination team and support the preparation of O&M documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading O&M program management for large infrastructure projects.
• Strong ability to plan, coordinate and monitor complex multi‑disciplinary activities.
• Experience working with concession agreements and ensuring compliance with contractual O&M requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including coordination with concessionaires, contractors and internal functions.
