Medical Receptionist – Tebra EMR Specialist (Part‑Time)

About the role

Our client, a growing healthcare practice, is looking for a part‑time Medical Receptionist who will be the first point of contact for patients. Working remotely, you will manage appointment scheduling, handle inbound calls, and keep patient records up‑to‑date in the Tebra EMR system.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound patient calls professionally and courteously.
• Schedule, reschedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Follow up with patients on intake forms and required documentation.
• Maintain accurate patient records within the Tebra EMR.
• Respond to general patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Communicate scheduling updates and documentation requirements to patients.
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as a medical scheduler, receptionist or similar healthcare administrative role.
• Proficiency with the Tebra EMR platform.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to work independently.
