Manufacturing Technician – Equipment Maintenance

About the role

The Manufacturing Technician will support equipment sustenance activities within the assigned production area. This role involves maintaining equipment performance, assisting with new equipment setups, and providing line support to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain good housekeeping and safety protocols in the assigned area.
• Assist in new equipment setup, major equipment problem resolution, and equipment restoration.
• Develop projects to improve equipment performance, extend part life, and manage spares.
• Create and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, procedures, checklists, and specifications.
• Support line maintenance engineer with data collection and documentation.
• Generate and update shift status reports.

Required profile

• Graduate of a 2‑3 year technology course.
• At least 2 years of direct experience as a Line or Equipment Technician in a semiconductor company.
• Good communication skills and ability to mentor production operators.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with hydraulics, servomotors, pumps, sensors, motor controls, electro‑pneumatics, and PLCs.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, measuring and calibration instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic diagrams and mechanical drawings.
