Linux System Admin Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Linux System Admin Team Lead to oversee day‑to‑day support operations, provide hands‑on technical assistance, and ensure customer issues are resolved within agreed SLAs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead shift operations, prioritize workload and guide the team.
• Provide hands‑on support across Linux and Windows environments.
• Monitor customer software, servers and cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot and escalate issues.
• Coordinate response to major or high‑priority incidents.
• Support software deployments, maintenance activities and new projects.
• Maintain clear documentation and improve team processes.
• Coach team members and promote a collaborative, customer‑focused environment.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in IT operations or technical support with hands‑on Linux.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring a technical team is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, firewalls).
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
