IT Helpdesk Specialist

About the role

MCI is seeking an IT Helpdesk Specialist to provide first‑level technical support to its global workforce. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, guiding end‑users through solutions, and maintaining the overall health of IT systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide phone, email, or in‑person support for desktops, laptops, printers, and applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, escalating complex cases when necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance such as software updates, antivirus scans, and system optimizations.
• Maintain accurate incident records and update knowledge‑base articles.
• Deliver basic training and create user guides for IT systems and best practices.
• Assist with VPN connectivity, remote desktop support, and deployment of new hardware/software.
• Promote IT security practices, including phishing awareness and password management.

Required profile

• Strong technical background with a passion for customer service.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Willingness to complete a full application, screening questions, and a pre‑employment test.
