Indirect Procurement Sourcing Specialist/Manager

About the role

Join Schneider Electric's procurement team in the Philippines as an Indirect Procurement Sourcing Specialist/Manager. You will be responsible for managing indirect spend across categories such as logistics, real estate, travel, professional services, and marketing communications, driving cost‑effective and sustainable sourcing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to design and implement procurement strategies that support growth and ESG goals.
• Execute purchasing activities including supplier sourcing, RFI/RFx processes, commercial and contract negotiations, supplier evaluation, and award recommendations in line with internal controls.
• Support procurement transformation initiatives and digital adoption, continuously improving productivity, payment terms, catalogue adoption and green procurement.
• Track, analyse and report KPI performance, sharing best practices with regional and global category teams.
• Engage with country leadership and key stakeholders, providing day‑to‑day procurement support and delivering training on processes, tools and policies.
• Develop and maintain the preferred supplier base, conduct performance reviews, leverage global suppliers for spend aggregation and drive supplier‑base optimisation.
• Assist with supplier audits and ensure timely closure of audit actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance or Management.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, preferably in indirect spend.
• Strong communication, cross‑functional collaboration and project‑management abilities.
• Proven experience engaging senior leadership and influencing decisions.
• Excellent analytical skills for bid analysis, spend data evaluation, fair‑value analysis and scenario modelling.
