Global Mobility Team Leader

About the role

The Global Mobility Team Leader will lead the operational delivery of Aurecon's global mobility services, ensuring a compliant, efficient and employee‑focused experience across all assignment and relocation types. You will manage a shared services team, oversee risk and performance, and partner with Total Rewards, People Services and business leaders to implement the global mobility strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of immigration, international assignments, relocations and transfers across Aurecon’s geographies.
• Ensure service quality, resolve complex cases, and provide practical mobility advice to people leaders and stakeholders.
• Maintain operational controls, case governance, audit readiness and mitigate emerging risks.
• Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation, data management, standardisation and automation.
• Manage vendor performance, contracts and mobility expenditure to control costs.
• Develop, coach and succession‑plan the Mobility team, fostering an inclusive, high‑performing culture.

Required profile

• Proven leadership in global mobility with experience managing high‑performing service delivery teams.
• Deep expertise in international assignments, immigration, taxation, payroll and cross‑border employment, especially in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
