Global Financial Reporting Analyst

About the role

Johnson & Johnson Global Services' Global Financial Reporting team brings together CFIN platform operations, data quality, reconciliations, controls and reporting into one integrated global team. This entry-level associate role supports financial reporting, reconciliation, data validation and close-related activities under the guidance of senior team members, ensuring financial data is complete, accurate, properly documented and submitted on time across assigned processes, platforms and legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily, monthly and quarterly financial reporting and accounting support activities based on established procedures and timelines.
• Support CFIN ATR processes, including data monitoring, error review, manual journal entry preparation and reconciliation package preparation.
• Prepare and support reconciliations between source ERP and CFIN data (sales, trial balance, quantity, journal entries).
• Perform data validation, report preparation and basic variance checks, and investigate accounting, reporting or data quality issues.
• Maintain complete documentation, audit trails and evidence, and escalate exceptions to senior team members or process owners.
• Follow global policies, internal controls, audit requirements and SOX controls, and handle confidential financial information carefully.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, analysts, technology partners and regional teams, and give timely status updates.
• Contribute to process improvement, standardization, automation, data quality and reporting reliability initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in accounting, finance operations, account-to-report, general ledger, reconciliation, AP/AR, audit, shared services or similar; fresh graduates with strong internship or academic foundation may be considered.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations and close activities.
• Ability to review financial data, follow documented procedures and escalate exceptions appropriately.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines, including during close periods.
• Willingness to work on night shift or shifting schedules, in a hybrid setup with occasional onsite reporting, and to adapt to new tasks with support.

Required skills

• Preferred: exposure to a global account-to-report function, shared service center, multinational corporation or BPO environment.
• Preferred: exposure to SAP, SAP Central Finance, BlackLine, BRAVO, TM1, Analysis for Office or other ERP and reporting tools.
• Advantageous: basic knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, internal controls or audit requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft applications.
• Interest in digital tools, automation, reporting, process improvement and data quality.
