Fullstack Developer (Japanese Bilingual)

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking a Fullstack Developer who is fluent in Japanese to join its client‑focused teams in the Philippines. The role involves building and maintaining the server‑side core of interactive web and mobile applications for a variety of enterprise platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate web services using Java, Ruby, Perl and related protocols (HTTP, SOAP, REST).
• Integrate databases with applications through APIs and appropriate programming languages.
• Orchestrate page flow and user interactions across multiple platforms to ensure a seamless experience.
• Collaborate with Content Management Systems, eCommerce, CRM, cloud infrastructure and CDN solutions.
• Utilize scripting and version‑control tools such as Python, Bash and Git for efficient development.

Required profile

• Japanese language proficiency at N1‑N3 level (N4‑N5 may be considered).
• Willingness to work client‑based schedules (day, mid or night shift) and to be assigned to IBM locations in Quezon City or Cebu.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
